It’s Jan 28, 2012, and the official Disney trailer is not out yet for the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie due out at the end of 2011

Walt Disney’s Vision of Pirates of the Caribbean
The Pirates of the Caribbean ride opened at Disneyland on March 18, 1967, and it was Walt Disney‘s final attraction that he worked on. Unfortunately, Mr. Disney did not live to see the opening as he passed just three months prior to the opening. It is one of the park’s most famous attractions.
Originally, the Florida Disney Resort did not include a Pirates attraction because they thought it would not be that big of a hit as the park’s location was already close to the real Caribbean. However, the fans were relentless, and a Pirates of the Caribbean attraction opened there on December 15, 1973.
It took thirty more years and Disney finally released the feature film in 2003: “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl“. It was a swashbuckling success, which led to the release of yet two more in the series: “Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Man’s Chest”, and also “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”. There is one more pirates movie yet to be released, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”, which is expected to open in 2011.
Sine the release of the movies, the images of Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, and Elizabeth Swann, played by Keira Knightley, are etched in our minds and pop culture forever!
